How to write a registered nurse CV

1. List your RN license with its state and compact status, plus BLS, ACLS or specialty certifications, near the top where recruiters check first.
2. Name your unit type, bed count and usual patient ratio, for example '32-bed med-surg unit, 1:5 ratio', so your experience matches the opening.
3. Include quality work with numbers, such as falls, pressure injuries, infection rates or HCAHPS scores you helped improve.
4. Mention the EHR you chart in and roles like charge nurse, preceptor or council member, since they show readiness for more responsibility.
