How to write a software engineer CV
- Quantify every system you mention with traffic, latency, data volume, cost or uptime so the reader can judge its scale.
- Write bullets as action plus result, for example 'moved billing to event-driven services, cutting failed charges by 42%', rather than listing duties.
- Group skills into languages, frameworks and infrastructure, and only list what you would be happy to be interviewed on.
- Link one GitHub profile or project that is active and relevant, since an empty or years-old profile does more harm than none.
